The College of Arts and Sciences Student Advisory Council was formed to foster a relationship between students and the administration. The council meets two to three times a semester with the Dean, to discuss current issues, future initiatives, and improvement areas for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Jason Rowland

 

Jason Rowland - Nursing

Jason Rowland is a senior nursing major from Riverton. Rowland is currently employed as a nurse technician at Freeman and Mercy Hospitals. After graduation, Rowland plans to obtain a DNP degree while working as an RN.

 

 

 

Abbey Schwab

 

Abbey Schwab - Communication

Abbey Schwab is a senior communication major from Fort Scott. Schwab has worked in the Department of Communication office for three years. After graduation, Schwab plans to work in the Admissions Office at Fort Scott Community College.

  

 

 

Jonathan Spickelmier

 

Jonathan Spickelmier - Geography

Jonathan Spickelmier is a senior geography major from Leavenworth, Kansas. After graduation, Spickelmier plans to work as a crime analyst for the Wichita Police Department and begin work on a graduate degree.

 

 

 

Jordan Cullen - Nursing, Military Science Minor

Jordan Cullen is a senior nursing major from Smithville, MO. Cullen is also involved with the Pitt State Army ROTC. After graduation, Cullen plans to work as an ICU nurse.

Rylee Dennis - Math Education

Rylee Dennis is a senior math education major from Trimble, Missouri. Dennis currently works as a tutor and teacher’s assistant in the Department of Mathematics. After graduation, Dennis plans to pursue a graduate degree.

Jessie Jenkins - Biology

Jessie Jenkins is a senior biology major (pre-dental emphasis) from Weir, Kansas. Jenkins is part of the PEERs program and tutors in the Department of Biology. After graduation, Jenkins plans to apply to dental school.

Paul Worsley - Biology and History

Paul Worsley is a senior biology (pre-med) and history major from Pittsburg. Worsley is currently working in the Department of Chemistry lab to develop a way to treat cancer without the side effects of chemotherapy. After graduation, Worsley plans to go to medical school.

Hunter Adamson - Integrated Studies and Political Science
